‘The owners of this amazing project in Beaulieu Park, Essex, extended their room to have an open plan, light space, in which the kitchen would not feel completely cut off from the TV area and dining room table. After numerous hours of discussing and planning with the customer about the best and most convenient design, we eventually swapped the end completely of where the kitchen was going to originally be fitted from the architects plans. Mr and Mrs R had a love for modern, clean lines. Mixing our Infinity door, white gloss range with the Float concrete, Fahrenheit, handless doors. We also added top of the range siemens appliances, and integrated the fridge and freezer behind full height gloss doors.’
This new extension takes full advantage of the natural light in the wonderful property. Mr and Mrs R wanted a contemporary kitchen that would provide a simple elegance, and also delivered the “wow” factor and incorporated a large island with a contrasting quartz breakfast bar. Throughout the installation, we communicated and coordinated with our team, the builders and the client to ensure everything went smoothly. And we agree, the finished kitchen looks great. A truly bespoke product.’
This installation was completed in Little Baddow, Essex. It has the top end appliances, Gaggenau, complemented with soft curves and bespoke glass units. This kitchen has a luxury island back panel, made with scribed LED grooves to show the fine detail of a Stoneham Kitchen.
With such a large room to fill, the layout had to work well without looking ‘lost’ in such a large room. No-one wants to have to walk miles between cooking, storage and washing up areas but equally you don’t want everything bunched up. The customer wanted a long sweeping island, flanked by tall cabinets at both ends of the room. Our design team created one of the most luxury islands to be designed, with curved units on the end and the detailed back panel made from solid oak, with a walnut infill. They also have a glass overhang, which is used as a breakfast bar. This has a Gaggenau hob sitting on top, with a Gaggenau extractor resting in a dropped ceiling to match the island’s curve. Back panel LEDs light up the island
The kitchen area was very spacious, covering the full width of the rear of the house; this meant we were able to create three linked-but-separate areas, for cooking, dining and relaxing.
The priorities for this kitchen were to create a modern, uncluttered scheme with good symmetry and plenty of storage. Our clients wanted glamour and of course, a ‘wow’ factor. At the same time, the kitchen also had to be practical, low maintenance and very easy to keep clean! It’s always a challenge to ensure that the kitchen is designed to look minimalistic and elegant, while still building in plenty of storage space. In this case our customers had accumulated a lot of belongings and need places to store it safely. Therefore the back wall was designed to encompass tall cabinets, as well as all the cooking and cooling appliances. We designed a long powerful island, with thick pillars to utilise space for a breakfast bar and stools. This was in addition to the separated dining and lounge area. We matched the coving on the ceiling, to the cornice around the top of the tall units, making this kitchen completely symmetrical and keen pleasing to the eye. The colours Moles Taupe and Cornforth white complement each other in a light and dark contrast.
We worked very closely with the homeowners in helping to fulfil their needs and wishes but at the same time were given a free reign regarding the design. It was very much a ‘one-off’ totally bespoke kitchen.
The central island has Anthracite oak cupboards with stainless steel plinths, again with Corian tops. As the tops are seamless the 6.5m diagonal measurement looks impressive – and flawless. French grey contrast in kitchen area, surrounded by Anthracite oak, defines the working centre of the kitchen. The fine detail of the Stonehams Kitchens show the thing wrap of ‘Alpi Macassar’ insert around the top of the curved island units, this is to match the triple layer cornices with the same insert.
This is our recently completed installation, working alongside Mr and Mrs M; this is the style that Arthur Anthony Interiors wished to emulate for the largely spaced kitchen. Deciding to use our very popular Strata-style cabinetry fitted the customer’s specification perfectly, bringing a very pure traditional kitchen with a contemporary twist. This kitchen design was created and hand-painted in a beautiful French Grey, complimented by Solid Light Oak tall units.
Directly below the orangery style ceiling and adjacent to the black mirror glass tall unit doors, is a multi-function island. The island provides informal dining, with a 100mm square edge depth quartz table. This table is capable of seating 8 people in comfort for also a great social aspect. The island is as practical as it is beautiful. Plenty of storage has been provided with oak dovetailed cutlery drawers and pan drawers in the island. This is also the cooking station with an induction hob and downdraft extractor. Directly behind is the built-in oven so the customer has a real cooking station and prep area. The hand-painted, ‘French Grey’ base cabinets work wonderfully with the 'Blanco Stellar' quartz worktops.
We worked hard to create a completely bespoke, drinking pantry cabinet with all the space and essentials which Mr and Mrs M specified from the offset, for example the hanging space for his special glasses and sufficient room for his own drink and bottle collection. We also created another double door pantry unit, big enough to act as a coffee making station, with a coffee machine fitted inside. This is what sat lower than the integrated ovens due to the structural beam above. We designed bespoke, pocket slide in doors to not have to worry about the pinch points by the cooking station. This way the customer can make their coffees without having to worry about intruding on who may be cooking. We bordered the pantries with our triple layer cornice, and Mr and Mrs M decided they wanted the mirror insert rather than the selection of veneers. Another truly bespoke feature to the Stoneham kitchen. On the opposite side we have the sink run with base storage units and the integrated dishwasher to keep the clean lines of the kitchen. Lastly, we then designed the bespoke TV unit for the customer to match their kitchen and complete the flowing look through the open kitchen.
‘The developer of this amazing new-build property in Billericay, Essex appointed us to design and install our Arthur Anthony German Range kitchen. The room was very spacious and we needed to spend time with the customer going through the most practical design for the room. With the clients love for a modern kitchen, we installed our Satin grey matt finish door with a stainless steel handless trim and Slate grey wooden worktops. We complimented this with the use of our black and stainless steel AEG appliances, showing a single oven, microwave combi oven, induction hob and wall hood and also the integrated dishwasher. The customer was extremely pleased with the product and service provided throughout by Arthur Anthony Interiors and gave us the following google review.
‘I was extremely pleased with the Arthur Anthony German Range supplied for one of my properties. The design is very practical and I was very happy with the service provided by Arthur Anthony Interiors throughout. I would recommend the Arthur Anthony German range to other people looking for kitchens or other developers looking for a reliable product in their properties.’
